Milestone Benchmarks
 
 
November 2007
·        Review and distribute information about the Lupton Library: library statistics, trends, reading, tours, etc.
 
November – December 2007
·        Gather information from campus community via focus groups, open meetings, departmental visits, etc. regarding the new library.
 
December 2007- January 2008
·        Discus and review library infrastructure / specific spaces and uses, such as: shelf arrangement open versus compact, quiet study rooms, 24/7 study space, group use rooms, staffing locations, service desk locations, etc.
 
January - February 2008
·        Discuss and recommend other uses to include in the new library, possibilities can include, but are not limited to: art gallery, writing center or other student support services, conference center, classrooms, café, auditorium, children center, etc.
 
February - March 2008
·        Cover remaining details, such as parking, landscaping, etc.
 
March - April 2008
·        Submit draft of completed program description
